Featured Website: DailyCarry.net

It’s been a long time since I’ve featured a website and I’m pleased to point out a very good one today: DailyCarry.net by Avery Smith. The website’s tagline states “Unbiased outdoors and survival equipment testing and emergency preparedness information all in one place” and I’d have to agree. In fact, Avery does plenty of product reviews, videos, and even his thoughts on variety survival subjects.

Here’s a list of his most recent posts:

Featured Website: Seasoned Citizen Prepper

I wanted to take a moment to point out a site that I mentioned in passing a few weeks ago, Seasoned Citizen Prepper. This website was started by Rourke who runs a very popular (and recommended) website, Modern Survival Online, with the intent of providing knowledge directed at senior preppers.

According to their mission statement: “Seasoned Citizen Prepper is a site devoted to the older prepper that believes in prudent, practical preparedness. Self-reliance, frugal living, and faith are the cornerstones of this site. Our goal is to facilitate sharing of knowledge

Featured Website: Prepper Ideas (Exceptionally Well Written Articles)

I can’t remember how I found PrepperIdeas.com but I’m sure glad I did. I can honestly say that within just a month I’ve become a fan. And, it seems it’s a relatively new site having just started in late June. Regardless, I like what the site owner has put together thus far. In fact, here are several of their more recent posts that I thoroughly enjoyed:

Featured Website: Total Survival Libertarian Rantfest – How Can You Not Love That!

With a name like Total Survivalist Libertarian Rantfest, how can you not stop to pay attention? I sure did and I’m glad I stoped to read what Ryan has been saying the past few months. So, what’s this site about? Well, TSLRF doesn’t offer a lot of BS, conspiracy theroies, or tin-foil hat kind of stuff. It’s more about one man’s views on survival but from a libertarian’s perspective. It doesn’t much matter to me what your political perspectives are so long as you’ve got your priorites straight and

Featured Website: Prep-Blog.com – A Refreshing Take on Survival

To be honest, I follow quite a few survival and preparedness blogs (I keep up with them all via Google Reader). I’ve noticed, however, that I tend to pay significantly more attention to particular sites more than others (look at the left sidebar for their RSS feeds), Prep-Blog.com has become one of the blogs on that short list.

Not only do I pay more attention to Prep-Blog than most, but I actually look forward to Thoreau’s and Butch’s next posts! I truly enjoy their viewpoints on most topics for sure.

As their tagline states: “A survival blog for non-survivalists, we

Featured Website: DoomAndBloom.net – Medical Information for Preppers

This site isn’t just about providing useful and interesting daily content found ONLY here, you know. A large part of this site is about directing you to the wonderful work of other preparedness websites. I know I’m supposed to pretend reThinkSurvival.com is the ONLY preparedness site out there, but that would be doing you a huge injustice.

Hence, the purpose of this post (and future posts like it) is to highlight particularly awesome preparedness and survival websites where I’ve found remarkably useful and pertinent information… DoomAndBloom.net is one of those sites. It is run by two
