I’ve posted videos in the past about cache tubes and all of them require you to perform some minor plumbing to make them water-tight. This idea from North Carolina Prepper could be a useful pre-made cache tube and not even be that expensive as well.

I work out regularly , and have found the protein powder containers very useful for other things , I figure that Im going to buy the stuff anyway .
This is an interesting idea. I’ve always wanted to bury supplies but didn’t want to go through the plumbing hassle. Water intrusion is still a concern but better than nothing.
True , but if you use the layering idea of wrapping it with other things , other than condensation inside the container from temp changes , water getting in from outside could be pretty much eliminated .
maybe vacuum sealed inside this container would be a good idea.
that might work , in places that store chemicals , they squirt nitrogen gas in the containers to keep moisture contamination to a minimum .
