[So, what do you do if the power is out, your fuel is low, and you just HAVE to can chicken today? Use your makeshift rocket stove, of course! While I'm not sure if this is the safest idea in the world--and I'm positive the canner manufacturere's would balk--you may have no other choice in an emergency situation. This video shows how he used a rocket stove to heat up his pressure canner and keep a constant temperature. The first part is about the rocket stove and the second part is about canning.]
