good advice , An alternative for those of us that hate having things hanging on your hips is a military Y harness and pistol belt . it just floats and doesn’t try to pull down your pants like a regular belt would and if you adjust it so it hangs between your stomach and hips , you have complete freedom of movement …….a few molle pouches …your in business , running is a lot easier as well . A lot cheaper rig than a police belt .
That’s probably a better thought that the duty belt.
Yeah , unlike the military gear of the past , the modern stuff as far as personal equipment is pretty well thought out .
Makes sense that if it works for the cops then it can work for us too. Probably not something I would use in normal times but definitely worthwhile when SHTF.
