Oh T.R. Please tell us the truth as to the batteries! :)

  • Bev

Just got an alert from a friend–I had to send this battery thing around :) that it is a scam!!!! Oh my, it sounded too good to be true…

    • T.R.

Im just curious enough to try it out , I’ll post what I find .

    • T.R.

Update on that , Millenniumfly is correct , it depends on the brand , everready used 4 non standard batteries , duracell uses 4 D cells , Im going to try to find the one this guy used , when I do , I will open and post where to get it if it does indeed contain the AA’s .

      • It would be nice to know which one uses AA batteries. Even then, I’m not sure it would be worthwhile to purchase the 6 volt battery over a package of AA batteries because I doubt the batteries used in the 6 volt would be nearly as powerful. It would be an interesting cost comparison some day, though.

  • Bev

Wow T.R. THIS IS AWESOME! 32 AA batteries in one six volt!
    THANK YOU!

  • Bev

    T.R. YOU ARE RIGHT!
Live today to the fullest! Go for it!
Having had two strokes now… Hey, just go for it :)

I enjoy Southern Prepper’s work! Food prices are just going to increase, why not put more by?
Having raised rabbits and chickens forever, I can tell you that you don’t need all that store bought feed! Chickens and rabbits both eat hay–dried grass. Rabbits don’t need much more than that and salt. I like feeding plantain during the summer, just weeds anyway :) Healthy, strong robust rabbits without the cost (takes a little longer to grow them, but no cost). Don’t keep too many chickens and use your table scraps and let them forage. You can also plant cabbage for them (they love it) to feed them in the winter.

Yes, if we knew for certain what would happen a year from now then we would all change the way we live!

    • T.R.

Plan for just in case but live day to day as it happens . A lot can happen in a year as we all know , I wouldn’t have guessed a year ago that I would change careers from burn out ( 25 + years in the same profession ) and go back to school at my age ……..but it can be done .
