[TheMrsVolfie shows a method of canning I didn't know about. She actually shows how to can dry goods inside the oven. Who knew! Apparently, you can use this instead of vacuum sealing or mylar bags. Personally, I would think using mylar bags is less expensive than mason jars but if you can get mason jars cheap then maybe this is something to consider. Just to be sure you understand, this method is NOT to be used for any liquid foods... dry goods only. Also, this may not be a good idea for some foods such as dehydrated foods (bummer!) or powdered milk as per her experiences.]

I had no idea this could be done myself. I always figured it needed a flame of some sort. May have to try it but I don’t see how this is more economical than mylar bags or buckets.
