[North Carolina Prepper talks briefly about storing ice for emergency situations such as the one the east cost recently faced. This really is a good idea to practice. Specifically, he talks about freezing 2-liter soda bottles; not only does this provide extra cooling capacity in the form of ready-to-use blocks of ice but can double as potable drinking water as well. So, I'll have to work at building my stockpile again. Even a few bottles are better than nothing.]
