[Aware Patriot talks about his ideas on what you can do to better prepare your family for a potential depression or economic collapse now. Remember, preparing for hard times isn't just about not having readily available sources of supplies that we're accustomed to, it's also about having LESS of these resources available much of the time as well. This is important to grasp as many of us tend to think that if/when it happens there will be nothing. I understand preparing like that's the case but you should also be equipped to take advantage of times when there are resources available and you should work to do it sooner rather than later.]

Thanks for the video. I especially like the toilet paper and laundry detergent ideas. How does the laundry detergent compare to the name brand detergents?
I’ve made detergent with similar ingredients before. While I’ve seen plenty of people swear it’s just as good, if not better, I haven’t come to that conclusion yet. I think the recipe I followed watered it down too much. One day I’ll have to try again. The ingredients are cheap so it’s hard to make a mistake with buying them. At the very least you could store the ingredients for emergency use if you ever needed them.
Thank you for your input millenniumfly. I think I will give it a try.
And learn to buy in bulk from warehouse stores too.
