[East Coast Prepper points out the seemingly obvious in that we, as preppers, should not be prepping out of fear. It's a simple statement but an important one that is easy to forget. While it's encouraging to see many new people get into prepping (you have to start somewhere) I do feel that many people are getting into prepping for fear of some specific event. That said, fear is a useful motivating tool but it's not the reason we should be prepping and definitely not the reason to be living our lives.]
