It looks like Jim at SurvivalWeekly.com started this idea a while ago and I missed it. He’s started a week-by-week guide to better prepare you and your family, called Countdown to Preparedness. He’s already on week 42, so you and I can spend some time playing catch up. To me it seems like he has most of the basics covered and will be something I look forward to continuing to read in the future.

On another site , one reader suggested making the outside of your house look like its quarantined by the CDC , biohazard plastic tape , photoshopped posted notice on the door, etc . as a possible deterrent .
