This BarryFarm page includes quite a few common foods and lists the approximate number of cups of each food to make one pound. This list could come in handy to better understand how much you would get out of your food storage. For example, if you know that there are 5.7 lbs of white rice in a #10 can (per the LDS food storage worksheet) and you know that it takes about two cups of dry rice of equal one pound (per the site referenced above), then you know you have approximately 11 cups of dry rice per #10 can.
