Ready.gov recently put up a new page titled, Today is the Day Before, that shows major disasters in each state and points out a significant event that occurred in the state the day before. For example, in my home state of Missouri they showed that on May 21, 2011 Missouri Southern State University (which is in Joplin, MO) held their graduation day, then on May 22, 2011 a mile-wide tornado hit Joplin virtually destroying the town. Similar examples are given in each state. The point is that you never know exactly when a disaster will strike.
