I’m into lists lately, and Andrew at Prepography.com included a list on the Top 10 Preparedness Uses of Diatomaceous Earth. While I’ve heard of most of these uses a few eluded me. I should point out that I have no experience with the stuff. Anyway, it’s used mostly for pest control in a variety of ways, including grain storage, gardening, and assorted barriers such as a flea collar for your pet. If you can get it locally then consider stocking up.
