I’ve found a new blog IfItHitsTheFan.Blogspot.com and recently read an article there titled What’s In Your Wallet? [it should be called "What If You Forget Your Wallet?" in my opinion] that contemplated the question of what to do if you’re pulled over by the police but have forgotten your wallet and, as a result, pertinent legal information, including your driver’s license, insurance card, conceal-carry permit, etc. He suggested taking pictures of these documents on your Smart Phone and comments suggested using various apps to better secure these particular pictures in the event you lose your phone. It’s an idea that I haven’t considered before and was worth passing along. What do you think?

Great idea unless you don’t encrypt your phone. Lose the phone and an identity thief has all of your info. And do you really want to give a cop your cell phone? That sounds like an invitation for them to check out your pictures, text, etc, after all, you have nothing to hide, right?
