Reader Poll Request

I’ve just put up a reader poll and would appreciate a brief moment of your time to answer the questions posed. The poll is located in the left-hand sidebar below my sponsored ads and featured blogs list. I’m looking to make this blog more functional and useful for you and would like to know your opinion about many of the posts and pages that I either update daily or that require a lot of TLC on my part. Until you speak, I won’t do anything differently. Thank you!

    Good Morning,
I tried to vote last night and this morning but it shows a little “Error on page” message on my computer. I hope it’s just my old computer and non updated version of windows but I just wanted to let you know that I did try.
As for my votes? I like the 99 Capacities best, I don’t really worry about anything else.
I agree with the first commenter, you’re doing a great job and we appreciate it.
    Thank you!!

I just took your poll. You do an excellent job of giving us tons of info, but I know it is a lot of work. Don’t do so much that it becomes more of a “job” and not something you love to do. Thanks!

Millenniumfly, I find your site very interesting and informative. I do think however a lot of people forget or just don’t realize how much time and effort it takes to maintain a site with as much content and information as you have. We are all busy trying to gather and prepare our stuff with little regard for you and the time it requires everyday to just maintain this site. You have done a great job and I for one thank you for that.

    I do not use
    Tweet
    Facebook
    Link In
    Tumblr
    Stumble
    Digg
    Delicious

…or any popup forward as requires my ISP ID to forward something

    • Well, all I can do is offer what I’m aware of. The “Email this” suggestion is something that is inside the email you would receive each day, so I’m not sure if that works for you or not. Anyway, since I’m a fairly responsive blog owner, I just found a WordPress plugin that allows a single post/past to be emailed to a recipient (via popup)… though it still needs tweaked. I just tried it and it worked as well. If none of these options are acceptable then I have no idea what else to do.

I finally found – used and succeeded in forwarding e-mail as I had hoped. I am glad I got it figured out because quite often I find this site has individual articles so worth forwarding. I appreciate your site, thanks again. I am not a cronic bitcher, but in this case, it helped me get it together, aye? Thanks again

Longarm, you took the words right out of my mouth. An email option like you described would be great.

It really frustrates me that I cannot e-mail articles as I think others would specifically be interested in. I do not use Facebook or Google and no RSS feeds. I sure would like just a straightup e-mail option for your featured individual articles and contacts instead of sending the whole page and leaving the recipent to find what I am trying to point out

    • Yes, you can do this. If you subscribe to my content via email (not RSS) there’s an option to “Email this” below the summary content of each article. Click on it and you’ll be redirected to a screen where you can enter the email address you want to send the article to as well as the ability to write a message. I just tried it and it works well. Hope that helps!
