I know we, as preppers, spend a lot of time thinking about our two-legged family’s survival and preparedness, but our four-legged friends have needs too. And a disaster is a prime time for dogs and cats to suffer problems. Worse? There might not be any veterinarian help available. Thus, it’s wise to know what you can do to help them should they get into medical-related trouble. Granted, you should still seek emergency pet care if possible. Besides, these skills are useful for non-disaster scenarios too.

Near the end, the veterinarian talks about putting together a pet first aid kit.
