Overlooked Bug Out Bag Item?

JJ points out that you should include a Next Generation 4 Bay USB Battery Charger in your bug out bag. Personally, this isn’t something I would have bothered with in a bug out bag but if you’re going to include a SunJack Portable Solar Charger like he does then you may as well toss in an alkaline battery charger too. The neat thing about this particular battery charger is that it is DC-compatible so you won’t need an inverter to run it, plus it’s relatively small, and you can even  charge different types of batteries at the same time which is a feature some alkaline chargers won’t allow…

Hi again Damian, I have a quick addendum to my previous comment. In the beginning of J.J. Johnson’s video, he points out that his multi-type battery charger charges, in addition to other types, nickel-metal ‘hydrate’ batteries and what he means to say is nickel-metal hydride. I know that may seem over-the-top picky but when I Googled nickel-metal hydrate the results were confusing. It might confuse someone trying to buy such a charger. I don’t know if you have any contact with him but if you do, you might mention it. Your friend,(editor at large) George Ehrman

    1. Sometimes my fingers work faster than my brain. I fixed the title. thanks.

    2. I don’t have any contact with JJ. Hopefully people will understand that was a small mistake on his part.

Hello again Damian. I’ve written to you before a while back and you responded quickly so thanks for that. Listen, this seems picky but… you subject line has a typo. It is distracting enough when there are mistakes in the body of an article but when they appear in the subject line and hotlink it can affect credibility. I just want you to continue to represent your site/blog with the utmost professionalism. Good luck, friend.
    All the best, George Ehrman
