As much as I don’t want to recommend you purchase survival ration bars for a few reasons, like they’re not as nutritious as you might want and not as enjoyable to eat, I recognize that they’re a favorite among preppers, especially for bug out bags. And while I’ve tried Datrex bars, Mainstay bars, and SOS bars, I can’t honestly remember which one I liked the best, lol. (Now that I think about it, I must not have liked Datrex because I dislike coconut with a passion.)
Regardless, the following video breaks down a handful of bars, including Datrex, SOS, 4Patriots, Beleon, and Grizzly Gear. Some look rather interesting, particularly the chocolate flavored bars, but it’s been so long since I’ve purchased or eaten any that I can’t recommend one over another.
