Have you used silicone and naptha mixture to seal an innertube?

I love this guy’s videos. This method is easy to use or duplicate and I trust this person, so I am sure it is also effective. Plastic tarps are cheap, but they can suddenly have tears or rips and they don’t bend or fold easily. Unlike the bedsheet you can’t wrap yourself in them and stay dry and cozy.
This is just one of those videos I will remember and think about and I’d like to try this myself soon to create a waterproof rain fly and ground cover.
