Have the LA riots and other civil unrest got you thinking about your home security? It’s got me thinking about it again! Perhaps I’ve harped on this subject too much lately (this and food storage) but I feel your security is too important to take lightly. After all, it doesn’t take much for things to go sideways, and while the following video talks mostly about thwarting burglars, it’s still good advice that most people, even preppers, don’t fully take to heart.
In this video, he talks about hardening your doors and windows, garage doors, dogs, lights (including a few tricks I hadn’t though about before), landscaping, why smart locks are a bad idea, and plenty more. It’s a really good video if you need a primer on all the steps you should take to better secure your home in ways that make most burglars move on to easier targets. Enjoy!
