Great idea! Good for hurricane outages too. Or, in those times when your fridge dies and the parts take two weeks for a repair.
This type of Coleman cooler has kept things cold for us 5 days in 90+ temps in FL without the extra insulation. But as you said, they were “floating” in ice melt. So this will be a great improvement. Thanks.
