I think that once you get the hang of this, it’ll be your favorite wood splitting tool. But you shouldn’t be so ambitious and try to split a huge round like the video shows in the beginning; it’s rather funny watching him try to get the first round through because it looks like something I would do!
Anyway, it seems there are two versions of the Kindling Cracker, the standard version and the XL version which is about twice as expensive as the standard/original but significantly more beefy too. The video demos the standard version and is probably sufficient for most kindling tasks…
