I’m sure you’ve seen lists of the top 100 survival items to stock up on before disaster strikes, but have you ever seen one specifically about hardware store preps? I haven’t, which is why this video intrigued me. And, to be honest, I’m surprised at all that’s been included. Granted, some items might be a bit expensive as survival preps alone, like the chest freezer, but most of his suggestions are spot on. In fact, there were several suggestions which I hadn’t considered before, such as roof safety anchors (used in case you have to get on your roof to repair something) and an air conditioner cover to protect against ash fallout, to name two which stood out.
Now that spring is in full-swing, I would encourage you to get out to your local hardware store and stock up while you still can. FYI: If you’re interested in the PDF he mentions in the beginning (and you should be) you can go straight to the YouTube page and find it in the video description.
