Who doesn’t love DIY builds like this? I sure do! And, although I know there are dozens of makeshift stoves out there, many of which are made from masonry bricks, this one caught my eye because of the unique design. If you’re up for a new challenge this winter, consider building your own vortex stove. Be sure, however, to watch both videos as the first one shows a time-lapse of the build process along with some explanation of the physics, whereas the second video shows the stove in action. The third, short video, is another perspective on just how little wood a stove like this uses if you’re interested.
