Wise Food Storage Pasta Alfredo

I wasn’t given this Pasta Alfredo meal by Wise Food Storage to review but, instead, found it among some of our camping gear. I can only imagine how long ago I put it there because I don’t even remember buying it! I’d say at least a few years. Since I was home alone recently I figured I would try it out:

To cook, simply bring four cups of water to a boil, add contents of package and turn off heat, cover and let cook for 12-15 minutes, then uncover and let stand 2-3 minutes before eating. Here’s what it looked like when finished cooking:

And here’s the final product:

pasta-alfredo-3

Though the package says it serves four, I’d say you can get three good-sized bowls out of it which is better than most package claims. Beyond that, the  Pasta Alfredo was rather tasty and I actually ate two bowls myself. 🙂

About the only thing that would have made it better would be some chicken. At $6.99 I’d say it’s a fair deal for a tasty meal.

I’ve eaten several of these—I like them as well. My packagea say 2 cups boiling water
