Portable power stations are nice to have, but they’re expensive. I recommend simply purchasing an appropriate power inverter and connecting it to your vehicle, but sometimes that’s not very convenient, such as when the weather is horrible outside. If you’re willing to spend a bit more to buy a lithium battery and an appropriate inverter, you can make your own DIY portable power station for half the cost of buying a commercial option. And if you add a charge controller and solar panels (or a trickle charger for when the power returns), then you can recharge the battery when it dies. Here’s how…

That was a nice video, but there is a guy that shows people how to build various systems and you can follow his exact builds to create a specific system that provides a minimum level of power or that is solar based or not.
This guy made it seem easy, but in other videos and builds they often mount the components to a board or place everything inside a box and they look like commercial units, but they are repairable since they’re home built or DIY projects.
