Escape and Evasion Tactics, Urban Survival Techniques

There are three videos below. The first is nearly an hour long, and the other two are about a half hour each. I know that’s a lot of time to invest in a single day, but I strongly encourage you to take the time (maybe bookmark this post) and watch them through at some point. My guess is that he has many more videos like this, so it couldn’t hurt to search Garand Thumb’s channel for more content like this.

Why take the time to watch even these videos? Because if you’re not trained in these tactics, like me, and have no military experience, like me, these are skills that you may need one day. At the very least, it’s good to know the basics just in case. That is a major part of preparedness, after all.

The first video, which I recently watched, is all about escape and evasion in a wilderness setting, especially evading a military force of some sort. It’s a good primer on the topic; I learned a lot. The second video talks more about camouflage techniques, night vision, and thermal concerns. I hadn’t watched it in a while, so I don’t remember the specifics, but I do remember enjoying it. 🙂 The last video is about survival in an urban setting, something I suspect would be more appropriate for most of us. Enjoy!
