My wife and I have lived off grid for 2 years now. The most important part in survival is your mind set. The will to survive is the most important part. Without the your inner strength it doesn’t matter what skills, or gear you have.
Living in the woods is as normal to us as going to a apartment is to others. It’s just the way we live. We are getting ready to build a new homestead though. Raw land and build everything by hand. It’s harder for me to deal with people than build a new homestead, but that’s my mind set.
