It’s been a while since I’ve shared one of ThePatriotNurse’s videos, but this is a good one because it focuses on the one area that I suspect most of us are falling short with: medical kits. Clearly, it’s easy to spend plenty of money on first aid items and supplies that never get used. The problem, however, is that it’s just as easy to need a lot of supplies if/when something happens. And if traditional medical help is unavailable, you may be on your own.
Now, here’s where her focus is different because she’s sharing how traditional items, like honey and salt, can be used for medical care. It’s her version of the “poor man’s” medical kit. While surely good advice, I would still include standard first aid items in your kit (e.g., bandages, antibiotic ointment, gauze, etc.) like she partly discusses, because honey and salt aren’t miracle cures.
In the video below, she discusses how to use: honey, salt, alcohol, Cayenne, Chamomile, Comfrey, bandages, Benadryl, olive oil, and soap. Don’t be dissuaded by the list because they can do a lot more for your health and recovery than you realize. Enjoy!
