How to Shelter-in-Place in an Urban Apartment

One of my biggest drawbacks as a prepper who talks to like-minded folks, like you, is remembering that not everyone lives like I do. I’m blessed to live in a home on a few acres these days. We have a lot of space for a garden and greenhouse and those sorts of things. But I realize, too, that many people live in apartments and condos (looking at YOU, Mom!) by choice. And, while I’ve written about how I would prepare in such a situation, there are plenty of good preppers actually living that life. Enjoy!

He indirectly makes my point that preparation is how people get through a crisis or emergency most of the time with the best chances of surviving and often with the least amount of discomfort or suffering.

Preppers understand this, but many people just don’t bother and they have the hardest time.

It’s still nice to have a safe room or bomb shelter and cool stuff and a ton of supplies, but we have hurricanes here in Florida and really never need to break out all the gear or even consume all our supplies.

Patience and being calm are what always get us through it. I think he made a good video.
