My wife demands we go on vacation, so I’ll be be taking a break from writing for two or three weeks starting the first of June. I know, I know, it’s a rough life but somebody’s got to do it.
We heading overseas, to jolly old England, Scotland, and Ireland. Aside from a few days in Canada last year to visit Niagara Falls and a trip to Mexico to see some pyramids, I’ve never been out of the country. So, I’m looking forward to a bucket list trip and maybe to see some history too.
But my guess is that my wife, mother, and sister-in-law (who are all going along with my brother-in-law) will be dragging me around to see the countryside and probably a lot of trees and flower or something like that.
That’s not all bad, but I really enjoy historical places, so we’ll see where we end up. I’m sure I’ll enjoy wherever we go, at least, that’s what I’ll be telling my wife the entire time. 🙂
Anyway, enjoy your beginnings of summer and I hope you have the opportunity to take a break from the monotony of life too.
