I always enjoy experiments like these, in this case, seeing what you can come up with for bug out bag supplies shopping exclusively at Lowe’s. All in all I’d say he did a decent job for only spending around $350. And, while he added a few items that I wouldn’t have bothered with (like the extension cord which he actually makes a good argument for and a silly crank radio), he included more than I would’ve assumed you could. About the only other thing I would’ve liked to see be different is a better backpack, especially one that includes hip straps (see options below), but I like the effort. Now, don’t let yourself go without if you think you have to spend thousands of dollars or buy special equipment because you don’t!
