Work Evacuation Kit

Interesting take on a city-specific evacuation kit. Although I would still be more interested in having my get home bag in most cases, I can see how something like the kit he’s put together could be significantly more useful if you live or work in a major city.

Beyond that, simply using a suitcase instead of a backpack is surely less conspicuous in the city. And I like how he’s opted for multiple grey man outfits (e.g., construction worker attire and black hoodie); he’s even gone so far as to include manufacturer-specific items that he’s seen locals wearing! That’s planning ahead. 🙂

It’s a very good kit and well-thought-out, includes several items I would strongly consider if I worked in the city–such as the ballistic vest and gas mask–and is easily passed off as nothing more than a businessman’s luggage. Check it out…

  1. Thanks a bunch for the shoutout! I really appreciate it. Yeah, my kit is a little extreme in some scenarios, but we sure are living in crazy times right now. 5 years ago I wouldn’t have made a kit like this, but in 2020 it almost seems practical. Go figure. 🙂
